counseling for girls

Are you worried about your daughter?

Do you feel like you've lost your baby girl?  Are you constantly arguing, yelling and slamming doors?

Does your daughter roll her eyes at you, tell you to leave her alone or isolate in her room?

Are you concerned about who she is spending time with or a new boyfriend that seems like trouble?

Are you struggling to help your daughter find peace?

Have you tried to communicate with her but realize you need help from someone else?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you have made the right choice by being here.

And I know this is hard. Finding the right fit for counseling is not easy.

I've worked with kids of all ages and have found that I have a special ability to quickly connect with preteen and teen girls.

I remember how hard it was to be a teenager.

Today, the social pressures, academic expectations and technology advances have a huge impact on how are daughters function or cope in society.

I'm confident that together we can work to help equip your daughter with the coping strategies needed to navigate her life.

I'm here for parents too.

Whether she is  struggling with anxiety, mother daughter conflict, or relational aggression (girl bullying), I can help.

I have the experience to help your daughter achieve her goals, overcome these struggles, and live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Let me help your daughter navigate  her ever-changing emotions and find her inner warrior!

We will work together to understand the root cause of your daughter's struggles and

address those issues with long-lasting strategies, helping her get closer to the life you've always wanted.

In addition, I work with you to regain your connection and improve communication with your daughter.

Teen Therapy

The teenage years are challenging, especially for girls.  The social pressures are enormous, not to mention academics, sports and family expectations. Knowing so  much more about the teenage brain today, we are more prepared to help teens navigate these exciting (yet stressful) years.  Adolescents is a time of expansion, creativity, relationship building, and independence.

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Therapist, I have nineteen years’ experience working with children ages 4-18 as a school counselor, providing me with a strong working knowledge of the school system as well as its support programs for children with needs, including the Special Education process, Section 504, Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.
